Our First Gathering

Our first gathering was held in Upperstrasburg, PA in a Park reserved by President Buchannan in the 1800's. The park was a reserve and dedicated to the Tuscarora tribe in honor of wild live and nature. We held our first tribal gathering there. Many people came and participated from afar as NY, PA, CA, VA, NC AND FL. There was food, dancing and dance lessons, honor dances, prayers, naming ceremony along with crafts, music and a give away and even a drum circle class and members got to drum and sing traditional songs for the first time..
