  1. Do you have a real tribal card?
  2. For us and many others it is. And some tribal groups and even reservation groups honor it.

  4. Do you know traditional native languages?
  5. Some of us do and we have our own Binay language.
  1. Do you know native dances?
  2. Many of us are traditional dancers. And many more are learning. We have Fancy dancers, Fancy Shawl Dancers, Gras Dancers and more who can be seen at many Native American Events, Schools and festivals.

  4. Can non-blood-Natives join your group?
  5. Only by adoption by a blood Native..

  1. What does federally recognize mean? means that the US Government recognizes you as a Tribe.

  3. What makes the Binay card real? We are not BIA, but we are state recognized as a legitimate tribal group. Some of our members have BIA cards. And many of our members have done research, and DNA testing to prove there Native blood.

  5. Can I start a business as a Binay member? If you mean like a casino or such, we are not into Casino's and don't believe that taking peoples hard earned money through casinos and cigarettes is for us.

  7. Where is the Binay tribal office? One of our offices the main one is in PA. And one in IL.

  9. What are the tangible benefits of being a Binay member? Good question. Sign up and when you complete the enrollment process there is a list of things you can read about.

  11. Who are the Chiefs?
  12. We have a few Chiefs. Chief Eaglefeather [PA], Chief III Hawks [IL], Chief Lionheart [FL].

  14. How are Chiefs selected? Our clan mothers select the Chiefs. And there is another process that we hold an election as a tribal group.

  16. Where is your Powwow? One is held in NY and one in PA. But with the new bands they will be held in some of the other Cities around the country.

  18. Do you have a delegation? Yes we do.

  20. Are you a sovereign nation?
  21.  In some degree yes and in some ways no. I'll elaborate more on that in another forum.

  23. Do you do genealogy? Yes we do. Members get a Free basic search. There is a more elaborate research package as well..

    2. Do have a right of passage program? Yes we have a rights of passage program. But ours is based on Chief Cornerstone.

    4. Do you have children’s programs. Crafts etc.
    5. We have many programs and do programs through the country.
    6. Do you have cultural classes? Yes we do. We hole cultural classes each month in PA and in the other states in the other bands locations.

    1. Can you define Black Indian? A Black or African American Who is both Black and Native American. For instance, I have a friend who is a full blooded Indian. She married a Black man. The Kids look totally African American. But they are half Native and Half African American, what are they? Black Indians.

  25. We are a tribal group dedicated to our Creator, Ancestors and mother earth. To share our culture and heritage. Unity and fellowship. To enjoy our lives on earth as Creator intended us to live.

  27. Why should I be interested in my heritage?
  28. First if you where not raised in your heritage but always felt different then everyone else around you. That was the blood of your ancestors crying out for you to be who where created to be. You lived out of balance. Embracing your heritage will bring that balance your heart long for.

  31. There are to many to post here. But reading this list shows a few. Some can actually have more benefits then others.

  34. For those who cannot find proof of their blood line. You should do a DNA test. This will show you and others that you are truly Native by blood.

  39. What is a Powwow?
  40. A Pow wow is a Native American Gathering of tribes, tribal groups family and friends. There you can find crafts, ceremonies, dancing, giveaways and lots of fun. Did you know its not ok to touch a Natives Regalia [Clothing] at a Pow wow or gathering without first asking? You must always ask before touching anyone's regalia or taking their picture. It is respectful. And you will offend someone if you don't first ask.

Did you know that if you see an Eaglefeather on the ground it is not ok to pick it up? You must call the attention of the elders, a dancer or someone in charge of the event. They will know what to do.
